About This File

Hey guys gameboy3800 here once again, and this is the start of the total overhaul of the new parts and features i've been cookin up specifically meant to be used for BeamMP or otherwise stricter tuning series that anybody would want to run!

In this pack are 3 engines for CRC and CRD that are 100% balanced to each other in every way, but they do have different driving characteristics and quirks of their own to fit each drivers nuanced styles! All these motors have locked parts and tuning, or can only be detuned. The motors are as follows:

1: The trusty old 540 Merlin, getting a bump in power from its 1430hp to an even 1500! it's got great top end power and a familiar throttle response to any driver!

2. The rugged yet slightly less efficient 540 Ford, it's performance is the baseline that every other motor was tuned against. It features a lot of torque down low for more aggressive driving styles!

3. The ALL NEW 527 LS! It's lightweight build and power density makes it a force to be reckoned with! Featuring multiple intake options to fit anyones driving preferences! Want big low down torque? Fit it with Twin Turbochargers and Intercooler for great STUTUTUTUTU noises! Want familiarity in its power band, choose one of the 3 top mounted Superchargers! Want the most top end power possible? Then the MASSIVE Crank Mounted Centrifugal Blower is what you're after! Or does all of that sound too complicated? Then try the High Revvin Naturally Aspirated model to stay as light as possible!

Every supercharger was tuned to no longer overboost (thats right, even in the base monster truck mods, every engine has actually always been making an extra 20% supercharger boost pressure, undetectable in the torquecurve apps!)! This change will not only let you control your temperatures easier, but it should also make the trucks actually feel heavier and more weighty! Clearing that bus stack now will take a good run-up!

All these engines are balanced and tuned against each other to be as evenly matched as possible. As long as your gears are tuned for your power band, you're always gonna have a great matchup! Word on the street is that messin with your air filters can get you an extra 5hp! But you didn't hear it from me!

Next up was a big talking point of my older League Engines found in my old Adjustable Addons packs, but that was how difficult those motors were to drive normally because of how their overheating characteristics were, as well as being locked to special gearboxes. I have taken that feedback into account, and am proud to announce the

Fully Selectable Difficulty and Penalty Modifiers!

How does this work? Quite simple!

When you equip the Customizable League Engines to your monster truck, and expand the engine slots, you'll see the normal engine and intake slots, but now there's also the difficulty and power modifiers slots! From default, you'll see that Standard Difficulty and the 1500hp Series is equipped. driving a normal CRC or CRD, it'll be hard to even notice any changes! You'll still have your stock radiators and gearbox slots, and power will feel normal. But choose one of the other Power Series options, say the LowHP 1250HP series, and just like that! you're now balanced to 1250HP! No matter what engine or tune you previously had, it will automatically adjust to the new ruleset!

All of the power options are as follows:

1. Poverty Series (1000hp)

2. LowHP Series (1250HP)

3. Standard Series (1500HP)
4. Boosted Series (1750HP)

5. Encore/Stunt/Fun (2000HP)

6. Dumb (3000HP) (works best with the 'Just for Fun : D' Difficulty {see below!})

Now say you catch somebody cheating, cutting corners or otherwise just driving dirty. You can now have them equip either a restrictor plate or boost reduction penalty to slow them down! It will still allow them to compete, but they'll have significant hurdles to overcome! Also, word is that somebody snuck in a sneaky power adder somewhere in there, so be on the lookout!

(note: CRC's engines have a little more power than CRD's because CRC is a naturally heavier chassis, so to get the same power to weight ratio, the power was either buffed or the engine was lightened!)

Finally, the Difficulty: I personally love my trucks being more challenging to drive, that way when you pull off a good run it really feels rewarding! However I'm well aware not everyone is in the same boat or even in the same ocean, so for those who aren't named gameboy3800, here's your options!

1. The 'Just For Fun : D' Difficulty still utilizes all the same normal part slots and tuning, however the engines themselves are buffed to unimaginable heights to not overheat or take any over torque damage, so you can really thrash them around!

2. 'Standard Difficulty' is exactly how you've been driving normal CRC and CRD for years now, exact same parts except for the new engine power and penalty functionality. This is how most people will probably run this pack.

3. 'Hard Difficulty' is basically the standard difficulty, except your radiators are now locked to a much weaker League Radiator, and your engines are less efficient to heat up and use fuel even faster! your revlimiter is also uncapped now, allowing for slight overrevs! so watch your shifting!

4. 'Extreme Difficulty' is a whole new level of driving! You've got the same League Radiators as Hard difficulty, except now your engines are even less efficient, your revlimiter slot is just gone entirely to allow for full overrevs and you're locked to either a 3spd Manual+Clutch race gearbox or a 3spd Auto gearbox. This should really even the playing field!

5. 'Just for Pain : ᗡ' is for those who just want to watch the world burn! Even less efficiency, and the only gearbox you can use is a Manual+Clutch with a very short reverse gear!

These engines, combined with the selectable power and difficulty options should make for the most balanced, fair, and fun competitions seen yet! However, even after all of that, there's still one more feature to talk about!

Behold: The FULLY Selectable and FULLY AUTOMATIC RII! Thats right, on ANY chassis (yes, really, ANY) just go to the backup beeper or horn slot (at the very top of the parts menu) to select the 'Backup Beeper w/Auto RII' and you're all set! Now anytime you have a hard enough impact or hard enough rollover, your truck will automatically shut off, and the RII lights will flash, just like a real life event! If you're undamaged or have righted yourself from your trucks momentum, you'll be allowed to refire your engine and continue your run as normal! No silly oil timer to lock up your engine here!

This RII has been tuned to allow some amount of leniency to allow you to still do sidewalls, moonwalks, and hard freestyles! And the way it's implemented, it should still allow you to try to save it fairly without triggering! It will shut you off if you do anything dumb or obvious like wall ride or hacksave though. Aside from the engines and new shock packages in my other packs, this feature alone has soaked up the most amount of time of mine for this set of updates!

Obviously the Auto RII is a very massive feature and it was hard to implement. If you have feedback for it, please feel free to message me on Discord about it!

That's all from me tonight. IDK when I'll next post an update or pack as major as this again, as this took quite a long time to get perfect. Even so it still isnt. But I certainly hope it's the start of the new era of BeamMP monster truck driving!

Thanks, gameboy out, I'll see ya all in... the future!
