WarWizardMonster
Hey members, WarWizard here. I thought this would be an interesting take on Monster Jam's competition over the year since I know for years judging has always been hit or miss with shows. I was wondering abut what Freestyle runs you've watched (whether in the World Finals or in a Stadium event) that were spectacular but just didn't capture the Freestyle Trophy. I'll put my list for my favorite runners-up I think the easiest one to note in the Dirt-Only era was Mutant (Todd Leduc) at WFXX Blue Thunder (Tony Farrell) at WF6. Creten was so fluent but I felt Tony had a few more wow factors Nitro Circus (Cam McQueen) at WF12 had a chance to win too This doesn't mean I think the winners weren't deserving of the trophy, but rather underdog runs that were close to winning. Let me know your thoughts! I'm interested to see what kind of runs people think should've won.
ItsYeBoi
I guess ill add one of my opinions.... I think Neil Elliot (red max-d) or Charlie Pauken (green? grave digger) should've won at WF 16 instead of Overkill. Now Overkill did have a good run, but I think he should've gotten second....just my opinion tho.

I'm actually going to go out there and say Jim Koehler had a legit shot at winning. Personally I thought that was a champion-caliber performance and one of his best freestyle performances since WF12. Jim Koehler stole the show with that performance.

crunchy11bravo
Grave DIgger should have won World Finals 3. Tom Meents in Team Meents had a really solid run but he lost a lot of clock with RII failures and it didn't have the momentum that Dennis Anderson exhinited in Grave Digger. Bounty Hunter should've easily won World Finals 5. I loved the pure insanity of Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction and Madusa and EL-Toro Loco had wow factors but as we all know you should have to fill the clock. Jimmy Creten came awfully close, and was the first to go after the semi trailer.
