Hey, My 5 year old loves BeamNG Drive and Loves Monster Trucks.  Can any of you guys help me learn more about both of them?  What are some amazing how-to videos to get acquainted with the games controls?  Anyone using Steering Wheels and Pedals?  What brands are you using?  My goal is to setup simulator with seat, steering wheel, display, computer, foot pedals all in one frame at home.  I don't want to buy the incompatible controllers.  Let me know your thoughts!  Cheers!  Right now I only have the CRD mods.  He is really interested in some of the whacky mods out there like the huge cereal bowl etc.  Where do I find those kinds of things too?

As for set-up, while I haven't tried a wheel, I have used controller and arrow keys and controller works the best for me. I used an x-box controller to play beamng-drive, I don't know the type since it was given to me as a gift. It is one of the newer ones however. I have binded my LB and RB buttons on the controller for independent rear steer since I use that. For mods that aren't CRD related, you can find them here https://www.beamng.com/resources/ scroll through and find what appeals you. Hope you have fun here. 🙂

I’m not sure if you know this or not but if your playing keyboard until you get the setup use g and h keys for the rear steer on the truck. Trust me it helps them turn SO much better. When you go to do a donut try to frift into it when you driving in an open space, allows for a speedier start to a donut. When you are in more confined spots try to continuously tap the throttle while using rear steer. This helps the truck jump into a donut however it is harder than the first method. Hope that helps
