CRD Monster Truck
Do you like big trucks...? How about REALLY BIG trucks...?
If so... Here is the biggest, baddest truck of them all! A professionally designed Monster Truck using advanced vehicle technologies drawing inspiration from the Monster Jam Monster Trucks you see on TV!

Put yourself in the cockpit of this amazing machine and feel the massive horsepower delivered to the 66" tires as you mash the accelerator! Hold on tight, because this Monster Truck is equipped with a large 540CI methanol-fueled "Big-Block" motor, straddled with a 8:71 Roots type blower producing an incredible 1500+hp! This Monster Truck is nothing short of high performance with a fully tuneable suspension, engine, transmission, and powertrain.
In addition to breakable suspension components, this release also features completely breakable fiberglass bodies that will disintegrate on impacts!
If you think you are ready for some high-flying, car-crushing, heavy-landing experience, with an extreme sense of satisfaction from the destruction and carnage left behind... Well, this is the mod for you!

This is honestly one of the most perfected mods out there, I LOVE IT.

1 question though, how do I get independent steering on controller? The older version just had it, but now it seems that it has been separated into individual key binds strictly for keyboard.
I tried binding it to turn on my controller, but nothing happens. It seemed like it worked in settings, but the rear wheels only turn on keyboard.

I've been playing monster truck sims since way back when in Sim-Monsters v2 days. I quit playing because I lost interest as it felt like the switch to a better core was never going to happen. This pack is amazing, it's realistic, detailed, and everything is well put together. Thanks to all involved allowing us to enjoy the fruits of your surely many hours of labor. It has revamped my love for monster trucks again, I get lost in the sauce and end up playing for hours at a time lol.

I also have an interest in the development. Is there any sort of forum to follow the development of future releases and builds? New things being worked on and such?

Decided to finally leave a review after the 2.1 update, with the updated suspension and added tie rod damage, this is now the most fulfilling monster truck experience possible in my opinion. Well done everyone involved!

I love this mod. The attention to detail is amazing. My only suggestion is I would love to have the option for qualifying versions of the trucks.

Response from the author:

Its possible we may get the "Training" truck options in the future. But I don't see us doing qualifying. Doing that would add a ridiculously overwhelming amount of jbeam coding for such a small feature. One of the unfortunate side effects of modding in BeamNG

Been following this mod since it had just the one trophy truck body style, wild and wobbly wheels and would break apart if it struck a pebble. So glad to see how far this mod has come and it totally changes the dynamic of BeamNG it's self making it into a whole entirely different game.  This is THE best mod to date and I have a feeling it will continue to be THE best out there.

What else can I say? This mod is literally the reason we're here.

It's wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

The attention to detail, the level of quality, the commitment during trying times, and just the sheer amount of STUFF in this baby is without compare. It is, without a doubt, one of the best mods out there, and is only going to get better with time.

Thank you to everyone who makes this possible, and makes it available for all of us to enjoy.

Response from the author:

Thank you!

First off I wanna say this is absolutely amazing. I grew up going to Monster Jam so to drive this trucks in such a already amazing game just wows me. I just downloaded this less than an hour ago and love it. Though I have one question, are the trucks supposed to make a high pitch whine when I really slam on the gas? Idk if I need to alter something or what, just general curiosity.

Response from the author:

The high pitch whine is the supercharger. BeamNG Fmod sounds are kinda weird when it comes to how they work. We plan to completely overhaul the sounds in the future once Beam releases the templates for custom FMOD sounds.

CRD Mod is amazing 10/10

The truck itself handles very well like your actually in a real monster truck, like you bought a custom 4x4 to take it 4 a spin and tearing up course with pure acceleration its absolutely fun...enjoyable to use when using it for freestyle, practice runs, crashes etc. Thank you for this mod without you none of this is possible.
