Hotfix 12/22/23: reinstated legacy t-series to the game under the vehicle folder legacysemigb so people can get their old t-series mods to work again. also added the new jake brake functionality to old t-series as well purely because its cool .

 

 

NOTICES:

ALL OLD PRESETS OF MINE FOR THE NEW ENGINES I DID ARE DELETED BECAUSE THEY NO LONGER SPAWNED!

HOWEVER ALL MY CUSTOM PARTS ARE STILL SELECTABLE IN THE PARTS MENU!

NEXT MAJOR UPDATE WILL HAVE THE MAIN SEMI ADDONS AND NEW PRESETS ON THE REVAMPED T-SERIES!

Hey guys gameboy3800 here once again! This pack is both a consolidation of my previous beamng base vehicle mods as well as a huge update adding a ton of new engine and frame options to numerous vehicles of the game! 

 

NOTE: You MUST delete these zips from your mods folder, as they will interfere with this new file that already contains everything from the previous mods:

 

REMOVE 454TBI.ZIP, REMOVE 540GAVRILS.ZIP, AND REMOVE MOREBOOST6.0.ZIP!

 

This file contains all these new parts and features:

 

More superchargers and prochargers for base game engines, presets included. intended for beamng career mode (spam click career button on main menu to access career mode!)

 

base 6.0Diesel engine selectable in the Grand Martial with many intake options, presets included.

 

Rear V8 engine options for both the Hopper and Wydra, presets included.

 

Police lights on the Aurata in the lightbar slot.

 

The classic Monster Truck Merlin 540 engine is now selectable in the T-Series, presets included!

 

T-Series gets the legendary V12 Detroit Diesel engines with custom sounds, presets included!

 

T-Series gets extended frame and Rear Engine Daimler-Benz DB603 Aircraft Engine options with custom sounds, presets included!

 

added a super heavy tanker trailer option to really test those new T-Series Engine mods! preset included.

 

Finally: includes a new automation T-Race Bucket vehicle of mine that i combined with a very unique looking vintage V8. Its very WIP. preset included. Engine model by Bullatich@Sketchfab

454TBI

 

 

Hey guys gameboy3800 here once again, bringing you another vehicle engine mod! This hits pretty close to home for me this time around, as this brings my real life truck engine(ish) into the world of BeamNG.Drive!

This mod adds the legendary Chevy 454 Big Block motor found in a ton of classic cars, work trucks and hot rods! The version featured in this mod is a very tame work truck motor, designed for highway hauling of heavy trailers. 7.4 litres of displacement give a ton of torque very low down to help it tow. When not loaded with cargo though, it's an incredibly fun street engine!

This Engine has a couple key intakes from its 1990s real life counterparts: a Throttle Body Injection setup (TBI), and the slightly newer Vortec setup. The TBI is known for being absolutely bulletproof, while the Vortec is known for its higher power! There's a ton more parts than that to mess around with, so feel free to mess with the parts tuning to find what you like best!

There's a couple of presets included so you dont need to add the engine in the parts menu every time. One's a 2door worktruck inspired preset closely resembling my IRL truck just because its neat, and the others an extended cab with 4wd for some off-roading!
This engine features custom sounds that are a blend of my Real truck's custom side pipes and some 8 year old muscle car sounds found in a variety of other beam mods. The end result is quite mean! I tried to get the full range of the real engine, but my audio recording equipment never gave satisfactry results. I may update this in the future.

That about covers everything about this mod! It took a long time to get it to where it is today. I'm sure theres some more ideas that'll come to me in the future to improve it, but for now I think it's ready to be set free!
